My name is Andrew Paul, and I'm a writer living in New Orleans. My friends call me Andy.
Among other places, my work is featured with The Believer, Slate, GQ, Oxford American, Virginia Quarterly Review, The Bitter Southerner, The Outline, and McSweeney's Internet Tendency. Some of my fiction can be found with Scalawag, Thuglit, Mississippi Noir (Akashic Books, 2016), and on the podcast, Pseudopod.
I often write about modern Judaism in America, particularly below the Mason-Dixon.
I also enjoy writing about spooky stuff including, but not limited to, suicide cults, shock rock, Presidential assassination attempts, and golems. I occasionally work on a novel about satanic Klansmen, if you're into that sort of thing. Let's be friends.
