My name is Andrew Paul, and I'm a writer living in New Orleans. My friends call me Andy.
My work is featured or forthcoming with Virginia Quarterly Review, Tablet, The Bitter Southerner, Oxford American, VICE Media, The A.V. Club, and The Believer. I've also got fiction included the anthologies Thuglit: Last Writes and Mississippi Noir, as well as McSweeney's Internet Tendency.
I often write about modern Judaism in America, particularly below the Mason-Dixon.
I also enjoy writing about spooky stuff including, but not limited to, suicide cults, Vodou priestesses, Presidential assassination attempts, and golems. I also occasionally work on a novel about Jewish cyberpunks, if you're into that sort of thing. Let's be friends.
